Success Is Problematic, I Was Happier When I Was Poor – Akon

Popular singer, Akon has come out to say that he was happier when he was poor.

He recently revealed that Michael Jackson’s death should actually be blamed on wealth, and the world has been reacting.

According to him, he’ll stand by his more money, more problems statement because he really went through poverty and success is more problematic.

Akon added that he knows what he is talking about because he keeps dealing with several Issues as a result of his wealth.

His words, “It’s not really more so a walk back, but what I do want to express is that sometimes when comments like that are made—I always speak according to what I’m personally going through myself.”

“Nobody can sit there and tell me I didn’t go through poverty.”

“I’m having more problems successfully dealing with all that comes with success than I had when I was poor. I was actually happier when I was poor.”
