Super Eagles midfielder Moses Simon has applauded the performance of the country’s emerging players against Russia in Tuesday’s international friendly. Recall that Nigeria sealed an impressive 3-3 comeback draw against Russia at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium.
Reacting on X, Simon revealed that he believes the performances of the young players was definitely a sign of a promising future for the Nigerian national team.
He added that despite the tough atmosphere away from home, the team showed real character to come from behind to earn a respectable draw.
