Nigeria’s Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo has come out to list issues that must be dealt with for Africa to achieve the desired level of attainment.

He recently had his say via a statement, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, poverty, socio-economic rights problems, environmental and sustainable issues are areas that must be adequately tackled for Africa to develop as a continent.

Osinbajo added that the Africa we want is one that addresses humanity’s most pressing concerns of eradication of poverty, hunger and disease.

His words, “The Africa we want is one that addresses, amongst others, humanity’s most pressing concerns of eradication of poverty, hunger and disease; the sustenance of democracy and the rule of law; sustainable development, especially dealing with challenges of climate change and application of finite resources for economic growth and diversification; human security and peace.”
