The Army Is Clueless About How To Win The War Against Boko Haram – Shehu Sani

Ex lawmaker representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Shehu Sani has come out to blast the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai for saying Boko haram insurgency could persist for another 20 years in Nigeria.

He recently revealed that the army has run out of ideas and strategies to win the war against Boko Haram insurgents.

According to him, Buratai telling Nigerians that the insurgency will last twenty years after repeatedly misleading claims of victories is proof that the Army has failed with the responsibility of leading the fight against terrorism.

He added that this is a clear case of the resignation and bankruptcy of new ideas and strategies to make Nigeria safer.

His words, “Telling our people that the insurgency will last twenty years after repeatedly misleading claims of victories attest to the failure of those saddled with the responsibility of leading the fight. It also signifies the resignation and bankruptcy of new ideas and strategies.”
