We Didn’t Issue Any Anti-Tinubu Statement, We Back The President’s Policies – Afenifere

The pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere, has refuted a report purportedly issued in its name and presented as “a mid-term assessment” of the Federal Government under President Bola Tinubu.

The group recently had its say via a press statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Jare Ajayi, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, while Afenifere understands the challenges Nigerians are currently facing, it is unacceptable for anyone to issue any report in its name.

He added that steps are currently being taken by the government to tackle the problems Nigerians are battling, and in no time, the required frameworks will be put in place to guarantee a bright future for every citizen.

His words, “We also understand that steps are being taken by the government to tackle these challenges with a view not only to bringing relief to suffering Nigerians but also to putting in place frameworks that will guarantee a sound future for the country and the people.

We shall continue to offer our support and advice, through established channels, to ensure an all-round success for the benefit of the teeming masses of our people.”
