Nigerian author Mervis Elebe has shared why Peter Okoye’s family hate his wife, Lola Omotayo. She recently had her say via a now-deleted video, and Nigerians have been reacting.
Revealing that she witnessed the family’s opposition to Peter’s relationship with his wife, Mervis stated that Mr P’s loved ones disliked Lola because she was older than him and of Yoruba origin.
Stressing that Jude Okoye cannot deny Peter’s latest allegation, Elebe added that the family’s opposition was obvious even to her as a teenager.
Her words, “Jude cannot come and say that he never hated Lola, because even to me, as just a random guest in the house, it was so clear that he did not like her. The family did not like her.
He never supported the marriage from day one, and they made that very, very clear.”
