Zubby Michael Turned His Condolence Visit To Late Junior Pope’s Family Into A Show – Angela Okorie

Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie has come out to slam Zubby Michael after a video of him openly gifting late Junior Pope’s family N2M during a condolence visit surfaced online.

The video showed Zubby giving bundles of Naira notes to the family, and fans have been reacting.

Reacting, Angela revealed that the actor should have given the money quietly without people knowing, but of course he had to chase clout with the death of his friend.

Okorie added that the deceased was a young man before he died, so the show of wealth was unnecessary.

The term continues to be used in the media to refer to the Nigerian film industry, with its definition later assumed to be a portmanteau of the words “Nigeria” and “Hollywood”, the American major film hub.

Film-making in Nigeria is divided largely along regional, and marginally ethnic and religious lines. Thus, there are distinct film industries – each seeking to portray the concern of the particular section and ethnicity it represents. However, there is the English-language film industry which is a melting pot for filmmaking and filmmakers from most of the regional industries.
