21Savage was arrested recently in Atlanta and was taken into custody, facing exit from USA.

He was apprehended by ICE early yesterday morning.

News say this event took place because he came into America legally 14 years ago but his visa expired and he is presently living in the country illegally.

TMZ stated that 21 Savage has been detained for removal proceedings, for being an illegal immigrant and a felon at the same time.

The rapper was convicted of drug charges in 2014.

His lawyer, Dina LaPolt said, “We are working diligently to get Mr. Abraham-Joseph out of detention while we work with authorities to clear up any misunderstanding. Mr. Abraham-Joseph is a role model to the young people in the country — especially in Atlanta, Georgia and is actively working in the community leading programs to help underprivileged youths in financial literacy.”
