Popular singer Jennifer Hudson has opened up about her tour this coming summer. She recently had her say while speaking with PEOPLE at the 30th ABFF Honors in Los Angeles, and fans have been reacting.

According to her, she has been finding inspiration in her son and boyfriend Common because they are both very musical people.

Hudson added that her boy is also a producer, and he has been recreating some of her popular songs.

Her words, “My voice is a tree of many branches. I am a music lover, as well as a singer [and] artist, so it’s going to display all of that, right? So yes, you may hear new material. My son is also a producer, and he’s been recreating some of my songs, so I’m inspired by that.

And then of course, the man Common, being around them both, they are so musical. It’s inspired me in so many unique ways. So that’s bringing out my artistry.”
