Popular Billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote has revealed that he acquired his first private jet when he was just 22 years old. He recently reflected on his remarkable business journey while speaking at the launch of Dangote Refinery’s IPO, and Nigerians have been reacting.
Urging wealthy Nigerians to invest more of their money in productive ventures instead of spending huge sums on luxury assets, Dangote disclosed that after many years in his career as a businessman, his priorities have evolved with age.
Aliko added that Nigeria cannot achieve its full economic potential without greater investment in production and other productive activities.
His words, “My career as a businessman, I really had a great time. I had my first private jet at 22 and a half years old.
I try as much as I can to encourage people who are riding $900 million aircraft to please go and put that into production.”
