Former BBNaija housemate Tacha has blasted Nigerians who engage in questionable conduct throughout the year but turn to religious observances during specific periods. She recently described the pattern as hypocritical, and fans have been reacting.

Questioning the sincerity of such expressions of faith, the reality star argued that reverting to usual lifestyles once specific spiritual periods are over is disgraceful.

Tacha added that the way certain people practice religion is becoming a joke nowadays.

Her words, “The way people practice religion is almost like a joke to me. You do all sorts of things all year, only to fly to Mecca and walk around the Kaaba, or show up in church on Sunday and sit in the front row. After the whole ritual is done, you return to your normal life.”
