Veteran entertainer Charly Boy has opened up about his confrontation with former Imo State governor Rochas Okorocha during the burial of his father, Justice Chukwudifu Oputa. Recall that Charly Boy reportedly interrupted Okorocha while he was addressing guests at the funeral ceremony in 2014.

Reacting recently, the entertainer disclosed that he still stands by his actions on that day because Rochas Okorocha was clearly trying to turn the burial into a political event.

Charly added that the governor’s bodyguards could not threaten him because it was his territory.

His words, “Mmhmm. Is that a crime? I for don slap am. He wanted to use my father’s burial as a campaign for politics. And you don’t do that. Not when I’m around.
