Popular social media critic Daniel Regha has slammed the Ooni of Ife for entertaining Baba Ijesha and his wife. He recently had his say via his Twitter page, and fans have been reacting.
Expressing disappointment in the monarch for hosting and honouring him with gifts and a chieftaincy title, Daniel stated that Nigerian society loves rewarding bad behaviour.
Regha added that hosting a convicted pedophīle is everything that is wrong with the Nigeria of today.
His words, “The Ooni of Ife hosting and honouring someone like Baba Ijesha with a chieftaincy title plus gifts despite being a convicted pedophīle, is exactly what is wrong with society today. We keep rewarding bad behaviour.”
