Ajax defender Dies Janse has described Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare as a beast. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
Stressing that the Nigerian forward is helping him improve his game since arriving at the Dutch club, Dies stated that training directly against Arokodare is fast-tracking his own development as a defender.
He added that the elite environment at Ajax gives rising talents invaluable opportunities to learn from experienced players.
His words, “The training level at Ajax is very high. Guests have joined where I can learn a lot from.
So I’m in a good place to develop myself further.
Actually, there is something to be gained in every area: physically, turning and turning and getting stronger.
Well, if I can stand against Tolu, that’s only good. That’s really a beast.
And that’s why it’s nice that those kinds of guests are added. You learn from that every day.”
