Chelsea’s Defence Looked Disjointed Against Arsenal – Gary Neville

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has issued a harsh critique of Chelsea’s back three after their defeat against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

Tearing into the Blues’ defensive structure, Neville blasted how disjointed the Chelsea defenders looked throughout the crucial game.

The pundit, however, added that he remains remarkably optimistic about the trajectory of the club under Alonso.

His words, “The back three, when I watch them, it’s almost like their legs aren’t connected to their hips and the hips aren’t connected to their bodies.

It’s almost like they’re a bit all over the place.

I think they can finish second – third is the absolute lowest I can see Chelsea finishing.

I’m as positive as I have been for three four five years about Chelsea because I think they’re going in the right direction.”
