The National Youth Service Corps has come out to say that cultural carnival would change the mindset of Corps members about the different regions and ethnic groups in the country.

The State Coordinator, National Youth Service Corps, Gombe, Ada Imoni recently revealed this to the press, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to her, the programme was included in the course content to expose Corps members to the rich cultural heritage of Nigeria, and to also serve as an avenue for young Nigerians to cherish cultures and traditions other than theirs.

Ada then hailed the cordial working relationship between the NYSC and its collaborators, since February 2022 when the 2022 Batch A Stream I Orientation exercise began.

His words, “We started this sojourn in February with the 2022 Batch A Stream I Orientation Course and gradually, the Orientation course for the 2022 Batch A Stream II is coming to an end. We came from far and near, from different cultures and traditions and cohabited peacefully.”
