Popular pundit Simon Jordan has said that Nottingham Forest striker Liam Delap should be recalled to the English national team. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
Stressing that Delap could be the man to answer Thomas Tuchel’s attacking prayers, Simon stated that Liam could eventually fill the massive void that Harry Kane will leave behind.
Jordan added that the former Chelsea striker has the raw tools to succeed at the highest level.
His words, “Delap might do it, he’s a good player. He had a great season at Ipswich in a side that could really compete and he scored a few goals.
He went to Chelsea and got lost in the vacuum. That happens to young players. He’s gone to Nottingham Forest, two games in; wallop! He starts scoring goals.”
