Fans Bought What Falz And I Wasn’t Selling – Simi

Popular singer, Simi has come out to reveal that contrary to speculations, she and Falz never dated.

She recently had her say during an interview with MTV Base Africa, and fans have been reacting.

According to her, the dating rumors were fueled by fans who perceived their exceptional musical chemistry as something more than just a working relationship, but that was not the case.

Simi added that fans simply bought what they were not selling, and they were never in a romantic relationship at any point in time.

His words, “He [Falz] did a verse on my song, ‘JAMB Question Remix’. And I was like, ‘Ah! Me and this guy, there is a vibe there.’ So, we did ‘Soldier’, and everybody was like, the chemistry is so amazing.”

“We never saw that. People bought what we were not selling. And we were like, okay, this is a strategy. So, we did ‘Chemistry’ the album. People gave us the name and the idea. We never actually came and say, oh, we are dating.”
