Is wizkid and David similar at all? I mean do they even have anything in Common?
The first thing I will say about there similarities is that they are beefers, they usually beef each other ..lolzz. Mehn, but let’s leave that aside and face the reality of what they notably have in common.
1. Both Are Record Label Owners :
We all know that these two hip-hop musician have their own record labels. Well, it cool.Davido proudly owns DMW (Davido Music Worldwide) and has stars like Mayorkun, Dremo, Peruzzi and Fresh signed to the label. On the other side, WizKid also Owns Starboy Music.
2. Both Won Next Rated Award In Their Debut Year :
In the year 2011, Mr. Wizzy won the best album of the year for the song “Holla At Your Boy”.
The following year Davido also bagged his own award.
3. Both Are Pepsi Ambassadors:
In case you don’t know before, these two stars are Pepsi ambassadors they are actually always sighted at any Pepsi related event. Though WizKid was firstly signed before Davido.
4. Kings Of Social Media:
Davido on his own side is having 6.1million fans on Instagram make him the king on Instagram when compared to wizkid who has 3.9million fans on Twitter making him to rule Twitter also.
So there are both kings on their lanes.
5. Both Have Sony Deals:
SONY came after Davido first and a year later, they swooped on Wizkid also.
While Davido has not achieved success on the international scene as he would have desired, Wizkid has been wielding on the international flex even before Sony came for him.
