Popular model, Naomi Campbell has said she is not ready to become a mother even if she is 49 years old.
In a recent interview with WSJ. Magazine, she disclosed that she is in no hurry to have a kid because she already sees herself as a mother figure to several kids around the world, especially in Africa.
Her words, “Me having kids? Not yet—I’ll see what the universe brings me.”
On being single, “Being alone doesn’t mean you are lonely. I don’t have time to be bored, and I don’t have time to be lonely.”
“For me, privacy is important to know each other, and I always worry that my job will not allow that. But I have ways. I was taught that by Robert De Niro.”
On her battle with substance and alcohol abuse, “I’m a survivor. I don’t have a squeaky-clean life, and I don’t pretend to. I was the first to say that I was an addict, and I’m so grateful to God to be a recovering addict and a recovering alcoholic.”
We wish her luck.
