I Am Proud Of Clarence Peters – Clarion Chukwurah

ClarionClarencePopular Nollywood actress, Clarion Chukwurah is excited to go on set to work with her son, Clarence Peters, the famous music video director.

Writing on the project at hand which is for Yemi Alade, Clarion Chukwurah said she appreciates her boy’s directing skills and she is very pleased with the huge talent bestowed on youths in Nigeria.

She shared on Instagram, “Good morning, Folks. Twelve Years of CAPital Dreams Pictures and still growing strong. Finally got to experience the famed Directorial Skills of my Son Clarence Peters, going before his Camera for the video shoot of my favourite Singer, Daughter and world acclaimed Afro Pop Queen Yemi Alade”s latest Hit Song, “Home” cause I believe in the self same fact that there’s no where like “Home”. It’s such a wonderful experience seeing the immense talent that GOD has imbued in the younger generation of Nigerians, it is so awesome and I bless God for this Country, Nigeria.”

Chief Clarion Chukwura (born Clara Nneka Oluwatoyin Folashade Chukwurah; 24 July 1964) is a Nigerian actress and humanitarian.

She had her nursery and primary school in Lagos and later pursued her secondary education at the Queen of the Rosary College, Onitsha then proceeded to study Acting and Speech at the Department of Dramatic Arts of Obafemi Awolowo University. She was recognized as a United Nations Peace Ambassador for her charity work across Africa. she began her career in acting in 1980 but became popular when she featured in a soap opera title “mirror in the Sun”. She was the first Nigerian to win the Best Actress category at the 1982 FESPACO film festival in Burkina Faso.

Chukwura was born as the only daughter in a family of four on 24 July 1964. She is the mother of music video director Clarence Peters. She is from Anambra State.
