I Tried To Take My Own Life After R. Kelly Molested Me – Daughter

R. Kelly’s daughter, Abi has come out to open up on how close she came to suicide after her father molested her when she was a child.

She recently had her say during TVE’s two-episode documentary Karma: A Daughter’s Journey, and fans have been reacting.

According to her, R. Kelly abused her when she was about eight or nine years old, and the reality triggered multiple suicide attempts plus a stay in a mental hospital.

Abi added that she finally confessed to her mother when she broke down crying in the car on their way to school.

Her words, “For a long time I was in a really hard space mentally and so I ended up in a mental hospital, a psych ward, whatever you want to call it… because I hit a point in my life where multiple times, I had tried to take my own life.”
