Popular singers Justin Bieber and Burna Boy are set to perform at the FIFA World Cup Final’s first-ever halftime show. The event’s halftime show will now be co-headlined by Bieber, Madonna, Shakira and BTS, with the lineup having been curated by Coldplay’s Chris Martin.
Reacting, Bieber revealed that he is grateful to be part of the list of musicians that will dazzle football fans across the globe on the 19th of July.
He concluded by thanking FIFA for ensuring the occasion helps expand access to education for children around the world.
His words, “The FIFA World Cup brings the world together in a way nothing else can. I’m grateful to be part of this Halftime Show, and even more grateful knowing it’s already helping expand access to education for children around the world.”
FIFA added, “A FIFA World Cup first, the Halftime Show supports the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, a landmark initiative working to raise $100 USD million to expand access to quality education and football for children around the world. Throughout the tournament, USD 1 from every ticket sold to FIFA World Cup 2026 matches will be donated to the Fund.”
