Former Brazil great Rivaldo has praised Lionel Messi for his standout performance against Egypt. He recently congratulated Argentina on reaching the quarterfinals of the World Cup after Tuesday’s epic 3-2 comeback against Egypt.
Sharing his message alongside a picture of Messi crying on the pitch after the final whistle, Rivaldo stated that the will to win displayed by the Argentines was very pleasing to watch.
The legendary footballer added that Lionel deserves lots of praise for still making the difference at 39.
