My Bad Perception Of Peter Obi Has Changed – Bashir El-Rufai

Son of Nasir El-Rufai, Bashir El-Rufai has come out to express a change in perception about the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

He recently described him as a great potential President or VP, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, he has come to realize that Peter Obi is not a bad person after all, and his views on him have definitely changed in the last 2 years.

Bashir added that his mind was poisoned by former party members against Obi, but he sees clearly now.

His words, “Peter Obi is surprisingly not a bad person after all. My views on him have changed recently. My mind was poisoned by my former party members.

Developments in the last two years confirm that those who currently control and run the APC do not desire to acknowledge, much less address, the party’s unhealthy situation.

As a member of the SDP, I will focus on engaging with and persuading other opposition leaders and parties to join us and congregate under a unified democratic platform to challenge the APC in all elections and bye-elections between now and 2027.”
