Nollywood actress, Adunni Ade has come out to say that she was a senior in college when she got pregnant with her first child.

She recently revealed this via her Instagram page, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to Adunni, her kids gave her the strength to push through during that troubling period and she sometimes had to hold down 3 jobs at once to make enough to cater for them.

The actress added that her father actually cut her off financially immediately the news of her first pregnancy broke to him

Film-making in Nigeria is divided largely along regional, and marginally ethnic and religious lines. Thus, there are distinct film industries – each seeking to portray the concern of the particular section and ethnicity it represents. However, there is the English-language film industry which is a melting pot for filmmaking and filmmakers from most of the regional industries.
