Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has come out to say that former President, Olusegun Obasanjo left office with impeccable records.

He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, Olusegun Obasanjo is definitely worth celebrating having served in many capacities, especially for unity, peaceful coexistence, plus socio-economic growth and development of Nigeria.

He added that OBJ is one of the few Nigerian leaders who have contributed immensely to the growth and development of the country both as military and civilian leader.

His words, “On behalf of my family, government and the people of Lagos State, I warmly felicitate Chief Olusegun Obasanjo on his 85th birthday anniversary. Baba Obasanjo is worth celebrating for his contribution to the development of our dear country, especially his service to the nation as a gallant military officer, Head of State and President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
