The Nigerian police has carried out a shake-up as the Police High Command approved the appointment of new commissioners of police and the redeployment of others.
This development is coming following the approval of some commissioners to proceed to the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) in Kuru, Jos, for the Senior Executive Course, Vanguard reports.
Four states have received new commissioners. These are, CP Mohammed Mustapha, Delta state, CP Murtala Mani, Sokoto state, CP Mawa Bala senchi, Jigawa state and CP Abdullahi Yerima, Adamawa state.
This shake-up is coming as the Nigerian media space is still filled with the #EndSARS campaign against the anti-robbery squad of the Nigerian Police.
