Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, has come out to express his government’s readiness to commit to the democratic ideals of justice and accountability.

He recently had his say via a powerful message to commemorate Democracy Day, and Nigerians have been reacting.

According to him, he’ll keep vowing to lead a people-centred administration that will deliver amateurs results in infrastructure, agriculture, healthcare, and security.

Describing June 12 as a defining moment in the country’s journey towards democratic governance, he praised President Tinubu for being one of the foremost figures who helped trigger the democratic freedoms Nigerians are currently enjoying.

“The sacrifices made by pro-democracy heroes, including our father, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, must never be forgotten.

To our youth, you are not the leaders of tomorrow; you are the true guardians of our democracy today. This democracy belongs to you.
