Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has said that his players will learn a lot from their 4-2 UCL defeat to Paris Saint-Germain. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
Stressing that PSG are clearly a better team than Barcelona right now, Flick stated that tired legs aided Barca’s capitulation in the final 15 minutes of the game.
The German added that Enrique’s players simply took advantage of their overwhelming quality in transition.
His words, “It was a fantastic match. In the end, PSG showed that they are a better team than us. We lost this match, but we learned a lot from it.
They have a lot of quality in transition. We tried to defend against them, we did it well, but in those last fifteen minutes we weren’t fresh.
It’s not an excuse. It wasn’t the best preparation for this match, but now we have to analyze it. We need to do better things in the future, but today we did some things very well.
We’ll see with Olmo. He took the hit and then felt a bit uncomfortable afterward. We have to wait.
Xavi Espart played a fantastic game. He scored the goal and the level he plays at is incredible.”
