Adamawa State Will Re-Elect Tinubu In 2027 – Aliyu Abbati

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and senatorial aspirant for Adamawa Central, Aliyu Abbati, has said that President Bola Tinubu has no rival in Adamawa State ahead of the 2027 presidential election. He recently had his say while speaking with journalists in Yola, and Nigerians have been reacting.

Attributing Tinubu’s expected victory in the state to the appointment of Nuhu Ribadu as National Security Adviser and other federal appointments given to indigenes of Adamawa, he said that the Tinubu administration had given Adamawa more federal appointments than previous governments.

Abbati concluded by citing the creation of the Ministry of Livestock Development and the appointment of an indigene of Adamawa as minister as evidence of BAT’s commitment to the state.

His words, “My advice to the president is that he should focus his campaign on other states, but for Adamawa State, Ribadu has finished his presidential election victory.

Adamawa State has never had it so good as under President Tinubu. We occupy top positions. Two days ago, another Adamawa State citizen, Abdulrazaq Namdas, was appointed Director-General of the Border Communities Development Agency. What else do we need again for us to give the president 99.9 per cent of our votes?

As an economist and policy strategist on agriculture, I know the wealth creation that the ministry can generate for Adamawa State can be more than that of oil-producing states.

The president has shifted economic prosperity to the rural areas through the Ministry of Livestock and, by implication, he is fighting insecurity because the youths who have been recruited by criminals are those in rural areas due to poverty.

Before community policing will fully come on board, rural people should be empowered with controlled arms to defend themselves against attacks from bandits and terrorists.

Security is the duty of everyone, so traditional leaders, local government chairmen and other individuals should team up to mobilise their youths for self-defence. Government alone cannot do it because some of the criminals are members of the communities, and the leaders of those communities can fish them out through community policing.”

WOW.
